Challenger +N: While challenging, this character gets +N strength.
The bonus counts only when this character starts the challenge. When it's the one being challenged, it hits back with its normal strength. (Donald has this lesson off: Helga Sinclair is filling in.)
In short: Hits harder when it starts the fight. When it is the one being challenged, it gets no bonus.
